I AM SO EXCITED
hey it’s craig
I’ve been reading and there is a rune by the name of stan!
“Stan represents an obstruction in our path, like a boulder at the entrance to a cave.” It binds the earth(humanity) to the sky(Stan’s tattoo is theorized to relate to the sky/weathervane). It can also refer to ancient board games where the pawns were made of stone.
It is also a Spiegelrune(aka Cipher Rune).
Is Stan an obstacle? A pawn?
Our psychological state allows us to see only what we want/need/feel to see at a particular time. What are the first three words that you see?
Love, fun, happiness.
Hello, friends. I’m bored, depressed and OCD. So I have decided to jump in on the whole Gravity Falls Conspiracy scene. This week, the Totem Pole.
I think we can agree that it’s an eagle and rabbit, right? OR IS IT? I believe it to really be a phoenix instead of an eagle(in lieu of all the nods at freemasonry and the illuminati). Do these relate to different people? Or are they clues? The origins of the Easter Bunny include tales about the Phoenix and the red and white mushrooms(seen all over GF). Perhaps these totems are meant to be “Easter Eggs.” Hints at big stuff involving the Secret Society. Note that there are TWO of this same totem pole within GF: At the shack & at Scuttlebutt Island. We all know about the Secret Lair beneath the Shack but what’s so special about Scuttlebutt Island? We know: A) It’s creepy and mysterious, B) It’s guarded by a Gobblewonker(?). Sounds to me like someone’s trying to keep people away from a big secret. Let’s take a look at what Scuttlebutt could mean. Scuttle: (n) a metal pail; a small, enclosed opening(like a hatch on a ship); a quick shuffling pace (v) to sink one’s own ship by cutting holes in the bottom of the ship; to scurry. And there’s the creature’s name. Gobble: to consume rapidly. Wonk: a person who knows a lot about the details of a particular field. SUSPICIOUS.
We also know that the one at the shack is secretly a radio antennae(as shown in one of the flashbacks from The Time Traveller’s Pig) so it’s reasonable to surmise that the other is an antennae, too. Was SI a secret base for a secret society(The Blindeyes)? Is there some secret lab there, too? What’s the relation to Stan’s brother? Is Stanley really the devil? Why did they feel the need to abandon the base? What terrible thing happened?

The day when Spider-man met Deadpool…
omg that is too cute. look in the last gif, Andrew grabs at the back of his head like he’s trying to grab Deadpool’s hair.
The release date for the sequel, Sharknado 2: The Second One (tagline: “Shark Happens”), which, as a reminder, features every D-list celebrity you can think of and is set in New York City, because shark-filled tornadoes are bi-coastal weather events now, has been pushed up to Wednesday, July 30. Please make a note in your calendars, or wherever you keep notes about sequels that appear to be trying very, very hard
More good news: the third installment is already in the works.
“Research them first”… “If you know anything about Chinese or even any East Asian culture”…
I could go into my lineage, but it’s not worth my time to explain myself to you since you clearly have an idea of what a Chinese person is supposed to be like. Thus when I, as a Chinese person IRL, give you an answer you don’t like, this verbal diarrhea happens. Complete with nonsensical derailing tangents and topped with deliberate ignorance.
You are not Chinese (as evidenced by your usage of ‘them’). Do not talk like you know more about Chinese or East Asian ANYTHING than an actual Chinese/East Asian person. All your study does not trump my life.

Robotic Arm Can Catch Objects on the Fly
A robot developed by EPFL researchers is capable of reacting on the spot and grasping objects with complex shapes and trajectories in less than five hundredths of a second.
With its palm open, the robot is completely motionless. A split second later, it suddenly unwinds and catches all sorts of flying objects thrown in its direction -a tennis racket, a ball, a bottle-. This arm measures about 1.5 meters long and keeps an upright position. It has three joints and a sophisticated hand with four fingers. It was programmed at the Learning Algorithms and Systems Laboratory at EPFL (LASA) and designed to test robotic solutions for capturing moving objects. It is unique, as it has the ability to catch projectiles of various irregular shapes in less than five hundredths of a second.

Metal-eating Plant Discovered in Philippines
Scientists from the Univ. of the Philippines, Los Baños have discovered a new plant species with an unusual lifestyle — it eats nickel for a living — accumulating up to 18,000 ppm of the metal in its leaves without itself being poisoned, says Prof. Edwino Fernando, lead author of the report. Such an amount is 100 to 1,000 times higher than in most other plants. The study was published in Pensoft Publishers’ open access journal PhytoKeys.
The new species is called Rinorea niccolifera, reflecting its ability to absorb nickel in very high amounts. Nickel hyperaccumulation is such a rare phenomenon with only about 0.5–1 percent of plant species native to nickel-rich soils having been recorded to exhibit the ability. Throughout the world, only about 450 species are known with this unusual trait, which is still a small proportion of the estimated 300,000 species of vascular plants.
